The legislation to block people from needing to sign away their privacy rights for basic services needs to wait until we have decided a few more very fundamental things – like whether people need to be white and fat and male and old and non-trans and hetero and blue-eyed before they have rights and freedoms and access to care.

It’s embarrassing, but that’s where we are now.
