An ICE officer who was hit and dragged by the car felt his life was threatened and opened fire, the department said.

You got a clear shot will being dragged? Doubt that. I don’t trust a single thing they say.

Fuck that headline. The pigs said it, doesn’t mean it happened. They lie constantly.

Unless there is indisputable video of this exactly as the thugs claim I will not give them the benefit of the doubt. They are trained to outright lie about circumstances.

Well the officers will have to release they body cam footage right?.. wait they aren’t officers, and they don’t have body cams… And there will be no case for the investigation because they murdered them. Chicago’s police are required to wear them, and are required to use them. The cameras are actually set to record the 30 seconds prior to them activating them to make sure the officers get everything recorded.

State prosecutors should just charge these ICE members with manslaughter to force the investigation to occur so they know their citizens aren’t being killed without reason.

I liked the one where the cop was in the road not really directing traffic but tried pointing some car in a direction or something. The car was just driving by with plenty of room and the cop fully stuck his leg out in front of the car. Broke his leg and then lied saying the car purposefully ran into him. Pretty sure they were arrested before someone with a dashcam provided video of the incident showing what happened.

The Department of Homeland Security said in a news release that the officer was trying to arrest a man who had a history of reckless driving, but he refused officers’ orders and instead drove his car at them. An ICE officer who was hit and dragged by the car felt his life was threatened and opened fire, the department said.

Federal goons tried to disappear a motorist with a post-facto justification of “public safety,” and the motorist chose Door #2.

felt his life was threatened and opened fire

They always feel their lives are threatened. This counts for nothing. Without further evidence, this may just be another lie from self-justifying murderous cops.

How do we know that officer’s definition of reckless driving actually matches the State’s definition. There are 50 different States with varying traffic laws, ICE is federal and traffic law has nothing to do with their jurisdiction.

Unless they had an immigration-related reason for attempting to detain him, everything should be ignored. They had no reason to even accost the man.

I don’t believe one of these losers was hit and dragged by the car, then was able to get a shot off to kill the driver like John Wick.

Yeah, he was probably reaching through a window or grabbed on because he just couldn’t stomach the thought of an ‘illegal’ getting away.

    • Frankly I don’t understand why they didn’t expect anything less by creating random traffic choke points. Mark my words, attitudes on ICE are going to start shifting radically once they start causing more and more collateral damage in pursuit of these capricious arrests.

It’s gonna be something big, like, an ICE agent smearing one of Jeff Bezos’ kids with an SUV while they’re chasing a 75 year old abuelita through a palisade in downtown San Francisco. It’s gonna be random, and whichever unlucky ICE agent ends up doing it is going to get crucified — literally. This kind of high recklessness isn’t even seen in states with sophisticated surveillance or fascism. We are absolutely on some Great Leap Forward bullshit right now.

This is going to be normalized

If a ‘suspect’ is being approached or threatened by ICE officers or whatever officers … many people will start to think twice about it all.

    • Will you just give up and let them take you away … to prison … with no trial, no law, no recourse … and basically end your life … especially if you are poor and don’t have much to begin with … and no one to help you
    • or do you just go out in a blaze of glory and fight because your life is basically over any way

This is the reason why laws evolved over the past few hundred years to remove Capital Punishment for many things … if you create laws where you severely punish people for the most minor things … people will eventually figure out that if you are given no choice, no opportunity, no empathy and no chance at proving your innocence - then people will realize that their lives are over.

Either you give up and let the government take away your life or you stand, fight and die anyway.

They’re literally killing American citizens and conservatives think that’s just fucking fine and dandy. Honestly, a part of me really wants there to be a new civil war, just so these chuds can be made to suffer along with the rest of us. I’m not usually the type to cut my nose to spite my face, but this is getting old.

Hey, you can still do plenty of things to make magats feel miserable and uncomfortable without even breaking any laws if you’re creative. I hardcore glared at some asshole in a maga hat at aldi a couple weeks ago for nothing other than him wearing a maga hat. He noticed and acted like the little bitch I suspected he would and wouldn’t even make eye contact with me. Little things like that can build up for them. Mirror their shitty behavior back on them.

Franklin Park, IL, is immediately south of O’Hare Int’l Airport. It is more than 50% Hispanic.
