Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner has suggested she was one of the few cast members happy with the fate of their character following the series' divisive final season.
I was recently in hospital so I did a rewatch of all of it. Season seven was much better than I remembered. Season eight was so abrupt and shitty, just like I remembered.
Yeah, season 8 is remembered more… The opposite of fondly, because it was more recent and the charcter arcs completely sabotaged, but season 7 was really bad.
I was so disappointed in it but I huffed copium assuming it was rushing things awkwardly so that it could come to a satisfying conclusion in season 8…
The bizarre thing is that had way more time, budget and less episodes for the last two seasons, yet they somehow still feel like they’re filled with terrible filler plot/dialog
The world would probably become a better place if they reshot the entire last season.
Reshot the last 4 seasons.
It’s 2026, seven years after Game of Thrones went off the air, and George R R Martin still hasn’t finished Winds of Winter.

And penultimate season too.
