Seems you’re right. Data poising seems to be very limited and challenging in general. And only works in laboratory conditions or for very specific, narrow use cases. What I learned from googling for a few minutes is, these tools either stopped working, never worked, or they’re snake oil.
Yup, exactly what I found when I last looked into them. Which is a shame. I would so love to use something like that to protect my photography work.
