    Just based on the article headline alone, if it’s anywhere near as bad as the headline, you know those kids are gonna get into the real world and already be leagues behind everyone else. They’re gonna eventually “write” a letter to their dad about how much they hate him for what he did, but the dad isn’t gonna know whether it’s AI generated or written by their own kid. The kids are gonna be so incapable of doing everything themselves and so reliant on AI that they can’t even think for themselves and use an AI whenever a simple question comes up. Even just basic “what’s your name?” type stuff.

    I hope I’m wrong and the parent is actually gonna intervene and help the kids learn that AI is a hallucinatory nightmare that is more wrong than right in many real world scenarios and applications. I hope the parent isn’t just letting them learn literally everything from the AI and enforcing the belief that the AI is more competent and knowledgeable than a professional in a specific field of study.
