I eat my food in strict order of what I like most (from least to most). For example if I had a steak with fries and vegetables, I’d eat the vegetables first, then the fries, then the steak.

Unless it’s a pairing. I love tomato mozzarella salad and I go to great lenght to make sure there is a perfect 1:1 ratio of tomato and mozzarella.

Lol, well I do mix it up sometimes so I guess you’re the weird one for strictly doing it always? I guess that makes it different enough

I do a strict order but it’s generally by what I consider the main parts of the dish. So I always eat the main dish before the sides and if there’s multiple sides, I’ll eat the more “important” one first and so on. There’s not much logic to it, my brain just sorts it out automatically

I do this in reverse order.

Meat is always first. Something died for my meal I’m gonna make sure it doesn’t go to waste. Usually a starch next, then veggies.

I go least to best like OP, but like you said about meat - it died to be put on my plate. Always make sure that gets eaten or taken home for another day. Least to best is a good way to get in veggies if they don’t keep as well or you like them less.
