For a long time it was denial to myself so it was just being bullied by my friends who were literally all 6’4 and ripped and smart and really pretty. Then later it was denial to them and the creepiest most awkward social gatherings and the frustration of feeling cornered by people who I thought were my chosen family. How quickly people go from family to creeps to strangers.
That’s changing though. My eldest daughter has openly dated other girls as a 10/11 year old and her classmates don’t really care (With the exception of the Syrian girl who she also briefly dated but now believes she’s getting sent to hell).

She’s not even that into girls. But 11 year old boys are twats so she’s sticking to the ladies for now. My 6 year old daughter also has a girlfriend. But only the one.

Many, I’m pretty sure they’re making plans to return to Syria now that Assad is gone. I don’t think her family would kill her, probably just disown her or send her to some sort of conversion “therapy”.
