The best tactic is to confidently post the wrong answer to any question.
You will be immediately corrected by people who actually know the right answer.
Very few people will actually answer an honest question you ask … but people will take the time to set up a new account, bypass rules, regulations and content in order to step into a conversation they would have never joined just to post how wrong you are and then provide the right answer.
A devious and time honored tradition. Very Romulan like, I must say.

That’s commonly known as Murphy’s law.
I’m pretty sure it’s O’Doyle’s Rule

Wait wait…you’re only just now discovering you can buy the rye chips separately?!?!
Hadn’t previously encountered them in the wild nor made the effort to order them.
Works well though with Lemmy, we’ve got a high number of autistic and ADHD folk per capita to give very precise, very detailed answers to even the most banal of questions.
Except questions about the CCP on .ml. Don’t do that.
Asking a question is not guaranteed to get the correctest answer though.
The real trick is to post an answer to a question. The enlightenment of “well ackshuly”'s will elevate you to galaxy brain!
Oh, and still do it within a meme or shitpost community. These people are nowhere to be found in the topics specific community.
That’s precisely what I did with this:

That’s good, you don’t want to become dependent on AI chatbots. Like:
“I wonder what I should have for lunch? Computer, activate the Dr. Brahms program.”
Sandwich. You want a sandwich.
Beep boop.
I like to make tiny tuna salad sandwiches with them. :3
That sounds delightful. And would work perfectly with a dill pickle chip in between.

Meme communities are the best tech support.
