Remember that Alan Dershowitz likely murdered his wife and molested children with Epstein.

Edit: Also, why does the lesser Cuomo look like a pirate?

Alan Dershowitz likely murdered his wife

Never heard that in my life.
      Sources?

      molested children with Epstein

      Agreed on that one.

It’s possible, if unlikely. Dershowitz’s first wife died of “suicide” by drowning herself in the East River after a shitty contentious divorce that apparently started when he left her for a much younger law student.

This guy started off as contrary and over time, I believe, became truly evil. There are no lows to which he will not sink. He wasn’t just Epstein’s personal defense lawyer against all the various lawsuits involving girls and trafficking, he was also best buddies with Epstein for years. An excellent article (that was published less than two weeks before Epstein died in jail) is this piece by The New Yorker:

Reminder for anyone who missed the memo

The late Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre claimed that she was forced to have sex with Dershowitz on Epstein’s private plane.

While he denied the claim, he did admit to getting a massage while at Epstein’s house, although he stated that he kept his underwear on and did not enjoy it.

I guess it’s only sexual abuse if you enjoy it…

On a serious note, there is just no bottom to the depravity of the US ruling class, is there?

None. They can and do get away with any evil, and their team will continue to cheer for them.

I really don’t know what to do about it, don’t know that I can. But I’m coming home from vacation and plan on finding some local groups to join that I can support. I’m also a leader in our scout troop, so hopefully passing along better morals to some of our youth.

        See, not a pedophile.

Who among us hasn’t sucked a random airport cock to make sure you’re not a gay?

Who amongst us hasn’t raped a child to make sure you’re not a pedophile?

Can we really fault a man for exploring his sexuality?

Be VERY wary when you encounter a person trying ever so hard to lean into that invisible line between pedophilia and hebephilia or ephebophilia, because chances are excellent you are talking to a person who does not or will not understand the very real and lasting harm done by any of these acts, and possibly approves of one or more strongly.

To be clear, I’m not talking about a sixteen year old who looks twenty-five; to me that’s an entirely separate issue. If you genuinely believe you are looking at an adult, IMO there’s neither harm nor foul in having thoughts there.

Instead I am referring to looking at an obviously underage, clearly pubescent or pre-pubescent boy or girl and finding that sexually attractive.

People who defend that by slapping the label of ephebophilia on it, when clearly the age and/or appearance of the victim does not rise to that standard, are hoping you don’t already know exactly what ephebophilia means, that it is different than hebephilia and pedophilia, and that it, too, is incredibly questionable.

As a reminder for anyone not sure (definitions extracted from the first paragraph of the Wiki article for each):

Pedophilia: sexual attraction to prepubescent children; psychiatric diagnostic criteria for pedophilia extend the cut-off point for prepubescence to age 13

Hebephilia: strong, persistent sexual interest by adults in pubescent children who are in early adolescence, typically ages 11–14

Ephebophilia: primary sexual interest in mid-to-late adolescents, generally ages 15 to 19

I wouldn’t listen to anything that pedophile cunt dershowitz says. He’s all over the Epstein flight logs, visited Epstein Island a bunch of times, then defended Epstein in court. Virginia Guiffre says he raped her on Epstein airplane. Dude is a pedophile who rapes kids, just like all his rich pedophile buddies who raped kids. Makes Harvard look like a place that protects pedophiles.

But, to be fair, he’s also being interviewed by the brother of the guy who’s defending Bibi in court for war crimes and genocide. We have to accept their side of the argument as well. It’s not pedophilia if the girl went through puberty, and it’s not genocide if the other side burned your Reichstag building. (do I have to write /s on lemmy?)

What’s implied here, is, that there is direct evidence of trump having sex with minors. And enough people obviously know that it’s release is inevitable, they’re doing this tired labor of trying to redefine what a pedophile is or isn’t.

Yep, we got it, pretty clear.

Just say “evidence of Trump raping children”, though. Your “having sex with minors” suuure sounds like the minimizing, deliberate lying (to hide extreme harm) that all the fuckin rags do.

      As was predicted.

Nothing will happen now that pedophiles run the world. This is literally a return to norm.

This whole child rape thing is a new concept that came about when we let women vote.

Dershowitz has made a career defending the indefensible.

But worry not: there’s a special place in hell reserved for him already, and at his age, he’s probably starting to feel the flames lick his feet.

No one is indefensible. Dershowitz sucks but not because he defended people who you don’t like. Everyone gets a fair trial or no one does. If the state can just accuse you of pedophilia and it’s too noxious to defend you, the state can do that to anyone, and all rights are out the window.

Coming from this fucking scheister, that’s rich. Dershowitz himself is closely linked to Epstein and figures prominently in the files. Have those people no shame?

If I was him, I’d go hide somewhere as far from the US as possible. Because if anyone is even more suspiciously a pedo than Trump in the Epstein files, that would be him. And yet here he is, running his disgusting mouth. Just unbelievable…

*shyster* but your spelling is better.

probably from German Scheisser, literally, defecator

      First Known Use 1844

I thought it derived from the character Shylock but Webster’s says no. Also for anyone who doesn’t know, please note it also can be very Jew-hatey, so there’s that.

And I thought it meant someone who operates a shy: a carnival attraction where you throw things at various kinds of targets in order to win a prize. The shy is one of the archetypal rigged games.

But I’m sure the dictionary compilers must know better than a yob like me.

Scheister is an accepted spelling. It’s also a lot more about shit lawyers than about shit jews than shyster, which is why I always prefer using it. It’s also a lot more about shit than shyness if you speak German and derivatives, which is also more in line with what I think of lawyers.

Not on the interwebs I can see, but would be curious to find the source for that. All the results I get back just spell it the other way.

Well, even if it’s incorrect, I’ll use it. One of the powers of the English language is that you can mold it to your liking and it’s a-okay as long as other people understand you. And if Shakespeare can invent 1,600 words, surely I can invent a few myself 😜
