The existence of Dick Van Dyke implies the existence of Pussy Van Faggot, but y’all are not ready to have this conversation.
What a power couple they’d make
ahem. I think you mean D*ck van D*ke
He’s aged remarkably, as has Ted Danson, who (along with his wife, Mary Steenburgen) interviewed DVD at his home awhile back. Definitely worth watching.
He started looking like that about 50 years ago and basically just stopped ageing at that point. There is probably some decrepit portrait somewhere.
DVD
I know Dick predates the media format by several decades, but seeing these initials was jarring. My brain kept insisting this sentence was trying to say something about an interview with Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen on Digital Video Disc…
Fun fact: though Video has become accepted, DVD stands for Digital Versatile Disc.
Fun Fact: DVD originally was called Digital Video Disc and was changed shortly after because it began being used for other non-video purposes.
Source: I was there when DVD was first introduced to the market.

I looked into it further because I definitely remember them being introduced as Versatile; the name change happened in 1995 about a year and a half before the first DVDs were produced.
Well, today I learned!
I honestly did not know how old Danson was until you said that. I would have pegged him at mid 60s at the oldest, I would not have guessed he was pushing 80.
Same with Mary Steenburgen. She’s 72! It’s insane how well they both aged and they’re adorable/aspirational in the way they treat each other.
She always seems like the sweetest person.
Some people have genes that basically delays aging about 20 years so if they take care of themselves they look around 20 years younger than they are, even before makeup and other appearance boosters that entertainment folks tend to do.
I work with someone who is 15 years older than me that I always think is younger because she both looks and behaves younger. I’m pretty confident she will make it to 100.
Remember Betty White. People were already writing articles about her turning 100. They didn’t get to post them.
It’s really weird that people are focused on this.
Imagine how long he’d live if he’d “taken better care of himself.”
Here’s the man himself handing out cash to people in line looking for work. Notice, he was still able to drive.
I want to be clear that I’m not complaining, because it’s a good thing to do and the world is better for it. It does strike me as extremely funny and age appropriate to give unemployed people $5 bills though.
I saw a few years ago that he goes to the gym somewhat regularly. Amazing at his age but probably what is keeping him alive. “A body in motion, stays in motion”, I’ve heard people say.
He’s such an awesome person all around. Here’s hoping he’ll get to experience the 100th anniversary of his show!
He’s very spry. I went to an event honoring the Sherman brothers (composers for the Mary Poppins music) and I saw him pull some dance moves on stage as well as do a rap version of one of the songs. This was a few years ago so he must’ve been early 90s.
Many years ago I read, “What you do in middle age determines what you can do in old age.”
Passing through middle-age, yeah, it’s true. My diet and “sustainable” alcolism aside, I move, I can still move. At 54 I have zero back, knee, joint, whatever problems. Helps being non-fat. I think that’s a major thing for younger people suffering pains.
Don’t tell that person who asked about how Steven Hawlking was still alive and he died a couple days later.
He should try fent
