I greet them as “brother fullname” to make them sound like they’re a monk or priest or something.
Brother Maynard, bring up the Holy Hand Grenade
Armaments, chapter three, verses 15-25.
Then didst the lord smite the evil hordes and banish them <“skip a bit, brother”>, erm, ahem…
And lo, shalt thou take the holy hand grenade and removest thou the pin.
Next shalt thou count to three, three being the number of thy counting.
Count thou not four, neither count thou two, unless thou proceedeth forththence to three. Five… is right out.
Then, having counted unto three, shalt thou lob the holy hand grenade at thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it.
One, two… FIVE
No, three, sir! Three!
100 years ago when I was a kid one of my gaming buddies, the darkest black kid in town, would greet me the very pasty mixed kid with “greetings my dear 100% biological brother, how has your day been?”
Your friend sounds awesome. Did you guys stay in touch?
His brother you mean
somewhat. he moved to the interior and has 4 kids and hasn’t been gaming
“hello spare parts.”
(Identical twins can donate organs with no rejection risks and no 8-year organ lifespan)
It’s what it says in my phone too. Maybe an EMT will find it and know where to grab/give spares?
“hey man” - what i say to my little bro “hey homo” - what bro says back to me. odd cause he’s actually gay.
“hah, gay!”
their eyes roll so hard they pop outWink wink
It is always projection, isn’t it?
The most common greeting between brothers is usually “Hey dumbass”
My siblings and I greet each other like Buster Bluth talking to Tina Belcher.
“hey brother”
“Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh”
My brother and I do say “Hey, brother.” To each other all the time, but it’s specifically because of Buster Bluth.
“Oi, bitch.”
“Huh, figured you would have killed yourself by now.”
Yeah, not all families are happy ones.
“Hey” “Hey”
Us now as 40-somethings: Hey. What’s good?
Us as teenagers in the late 90s: Sup, cracker? You busy being a homo and shit?
We are white.
“Sup fucker”
Most of my siblings say my name, though my younger brother does often say hey bro (we didn’t grow up together, my father has been round). For a while I called my father “father person” and he called my older brother and I #1 son and #2 son, but not as a ranking, just a statement of our birth order.
Narrator: it was also a ranking.
My sister always leads in with “comrade brother”
Dumb nicknames, definitely
