    I don’t condone violence but to argue that Kirk was anything other than a sociopath douche canoe is a fallacy. Yes don’t celebrate his murder but at the same time don’t try to make him a martyr and a decent person. He was neither.

      And that should start with the parents. If ya can’t feed them then don’t breed them. Parents should not rely on the government to feed their kids. Especially if parents are physically able to work. Today’s society is absolutely fucked in thinking it’s normal to reply on the government for anything.

        Wouldn’t it be remarkable if we lived lives so linearly predictable that we could plan like that? Surely there’s never been a person that’s had children and then ran into employment or financial challenges afterwards. It’s so far fetched it’s hard to imagine!

            I’m grateful that you didn’t have to go through greater hardship. In a community there are times we have to rely on each other and government can be a medium for that. I hope for a future where we can do more for those in need, collectively. When we lift them, we lift everyone.

        We should probably require the government to regulate the economy enough so ann average worker cannot afford to feed their kids. Unfortunately, the government can only regulate the economy in a way that puts money directly back into Donald Trump‘s pockets.

        Actually, just like this video, his schtick was that he would take all comers to debate, and he always gathered a number of people who actually took that up and even if they knew he debated in bad faith, they saw the chance to be in the conversation and generate content supporting their contrary views by showing how much of an obtuse asshole Charlie Kirk was.

        Large numbers of people went to his events to specifically disagree with him.

    This guy was like the proverbial forked tongue, like what the christians would describe in their fantasyland as a devil or demon that really speaks to you and leads you down an evil path using words you secretly want to hear. Kirk talking was always full of subtle dog whistles, sometimes not so subtle, always leading the willing listener to justify their hatreds and myopic views. Framing questions as accusations, dodging actually answering questions, butwhataboutism, etc. A snake oil salesman for willing buyers. I’m not in the least religious, but the most vocal on the right are the spitting image of the nefarious smooth-talking baddies christians are always so worried about.

    I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. I only feel bad for the kids.

    They didn’t choose their father. They didn’t choose to be born. They will 100% at some point, see up close and personal footage of their father being killed in broad daylight, in full color, digitally perfect quality, preserved by the Internet, forever.

    They will see that footage someday, if not already.

    That’s why I feel for those kids. I feel bad for them in spite of what their father said or believed. Specifically to spite him, I will feel sympathy for his kids.

    His wife can get fucked. She volunteered for this. She knew what she was getting into, she knew the man that she married, and not only married him, but stayed married to him through all of this dumb, insane, and toxic shit that he was spewing.

    She had a fucking choice and she chose to stay where she was. The only way my opinion on that could change is if her husband was an abuser. I have no doubt that he could have been, right now there’s no allegations of that. If she’s the victim of domestic abuse, then leaving would not have been as straight forward as it might seem.

    In all other circumstances, she can get wrecked for standing by him while he said and did what he said and did.

    I have zero empathy or sympathy for the man himself. Guy was toxic, and he was shot and killed by someone equally, or more toxic. One goes in the ground, one goes in a cell. Both are out of our society, hopefully forever. Fuck both of them.

    The more I see about Kirk, or his killer, the more I fucking hate both of them.

    I still feel bad for those kids.
