Like is there some sort of extension or plugin I can download to make the layout more like “new reddit”? With like bigger pictures and titles and stuff? Thanks!
I’m using Tesseract, a few instances have it installed and if you ask your admin nicely they’ll probalby install it for you.
They really aren’t sending their best
Use an alternative UI like ~~https://blorpblorp.xyz/~~
Edit: Seems like blorp is not open source so I cannot personally recommend it. You can try some other UI like photon. It is different from new reddit but has medium sized pictures when the view is set to cozy and seems pretty round.
Damn bro but blorp is like exactly what I wanted lol. I mean I don’t think they’d get much from me even if they were malicous or whatever. This acc is just a dumb reddit username and a unique password. I don’t repeat passwords on different accounts so like I doubt much could happen right?
why the hell
why would you do that to yourself
lol that’s what I was thinking, the new reddit UI is a crime against humanity
Lol I just like the layout man. Ik there’s like a big thing about old reddit v new reddit and everyone hates new reddit, but idk man I’m a sucker for rounded edges and big pictures lmao.
I’m not entirely sure about that but, in case it helps, you could download a Lemmy app to customize the UI of how you view Lemmygrad.
Thx!
Try jerboa if you have android. Its maintained by lemmy devs
Second this. I use Jerboa exclusively, except when I want to add a hexbear emoji to a post.
If you memorize the colon codes you can still use hexbear emojis on jerboa
Grok, is this true?
:sicko-wistful:
I think even if non-hexbear users type out the colon codes they’ll show correctly for hexbear users
:doggirl-thumbsup:
Not in web browser, for me
Oh, shit, you’re right! I use an app so I didn’t see it there but it does actually show up on the browser.
Pretty cool but wish it would pop up for everyone.
Thanks I’ll check it out!
Yeah blorp works great! I’m not all that familiar with lemmy but I guess u just gotta log in and it’s super similar to what I was looking for. Cheers👍
Yeah you just choose the instance you want on the frontend and log in.
I’m glad I could be of help. I have been using Blorp’s Android app for a while now and it’s great.
