Second this. I use Jerboa exclusively, except when I want to add a hexbear emoji to a post.
If you memorize the colon codes you can still use hexbear emojis on jerboa

Oh, shit, you’re right! I use an app so I didn’t see it there but it does actually show up on the browser.
