Reminds me of soil. You need depth for your roots. People like you can be tall and strong but you still need a healthy substrate.

Other people are like weeds and can thrive in nutrient starved dirt. And they make the soil worse so that good people are stressed and pressured into dying off.

Weeds actually improve soil though, when they die and break down they provide what wasn’t there before for the next round of plants. They are pioneer plants.

Absolutely they do. If America falls to civil war, it’s sphere of influence contracts and Russia becomes more powerful in that vacuum.

We are seeing many of the “voices” that are attempting to capitalize on the violence. What we’re not seeing are the “ears” - the ears that just saw their fearless leader is in fact a pedophile, who just sent troops to cities with no remarkable record of violence, etc.

I know these people don’t mean what they say because they’re saying them - tweeting them and vaguely implying others do it for them, minding their wording so they can’t be sued or found liable later. The people that take action are the gullible hacks that buy into their narrative. The question now is how compelling that narrative still is.

They havent even caught the shooter… they dont even know they are a leftist.

They could be, likely are, but it doesnt matter. If it turns out to have been someone on the right or someone from outside the US political spectrum it will be swept under the rug.

The right are hijacking this to spread propaganda. Utter bollocks

It’s not even likely. I was born in 1980 there have been thousands of mass shootings since then in the US. Two of the shooters in the last 45 years had leftist tendencies. The vast majority of them were hard line right wingers.

I noticed on Reddit. Within a half hour boys and Fox News along with other right wing voices were already pushing a very extreme anti leftist propaganda across the board. Before he was even announced dead and obviously before anyone even knew who the shooter was.

It was so wild to see it happen live as if it was an ad campaign that was planned for release.

It won’t matter at that point either. They started telling a story from the start and the amount of times it gets repeated in pursuit of their ambitions will eclipse the truth when it comes out. It isn’t like they’re all going make posts saying, ‘Zoinks guys we were wrong. It wasn’t the dems like we’ve been saying with no evidence because it was convenient, for all these weeks. Put the torches and pitchforks down.’ the narrative lives on long after the facts become known. It’s literally why facts in media actually mattered at one point.

They are using it to advocate for significantly more violence. I don’t really want to advocate for violence but what else can you do if people are trying to remove your rights?

Oh yeah, blockades and general strikes would be a good one to try first. Fuck, even property damage is better than killing people.

For whatever reason it’s near impossible to act as a group in this country. The bigger the movement the bigger the target and oligarchy rallies and kills it in it’s crib. The economic and propaganda stranglehold is too tight.

And so individual acts that can be planned and executed under the oligarchy’s radar (like what happened yesterday) are seemingly the only things left.

That’s why they are pushing the surveillance shit hard.

Well interestingly I could not find Kirk saying anything about Melissa Hortmans killing. That day is chock full of huge boner post for Israel Iranian War. When another shooting happened a day later he said (excerpt):

now today’s diabolical attack in Minnesota, allegedly by Vance Luther Boelter.

There are far too many mentally unstable and suggestible people on the left …

With lots of decoration, projection and minimization around this tidbit. Full text

Edit: I’m aware Boelter turned out to be more of a Christo-Fascist. That’s why I found Kirk immediately blaming “the left” without knowing anything so weird.

It was a really popular conservative conspiracy that Vance Boelter was a Democrat. Conservative talking heads know their base won’t do any fact checking, so they made up a narrative and their audience ate it up. I bet many of them still believe Boelter was a Democrat, despite all evidence to the contrary

They asked people to not protest over this, in order to keep them safe. The protesters didn’t listen.

By contrast, Ben Shapiro canceled his event TWO STATES Away in California because he was afraid of the event in Utah.

These cowards are such trash. They talk this HUGE talk, then a warm breeze threatens to melt them. I can’t believe their party originally coined the “snowflake” term that so perfectly describes them.

Because their personal experience with MAGA in power somehow failed to match their expectations, and they feel betrayed.

Maybe they were just supremely in on the Epstein stuff and supposed allies backing down on their stance feels like a supreme corruption.

Maybe they were unemployed and didn’t magically get a job. Maybe they were employed but thought MAGA would mean a raise but he got laid off for whatever reason. Maybe they went to a fast food place and the order taker had a Mexican accent despite assumptions they would all be out of the country.

Maybe they thought that the right wingers were right, but too passive and wanted to incite a hot civil war.

Or maybe he went all in on it and his wife left him and he blames people like Charlie Kirk instead of himself.

There’s all sorts of ways it could be someone inclined to be MAGA. The conservative right played to a dangerous extremism and all sorts of things can go horribly wrong when you play with that sort of fire. Same goes for most any extremism.

In general, any extremist movement can appear all on the same page until they get real power, then all hell can break loose as they discover they don’t perfectly agree on everything, or circumstances don’t fully match their expectations.

Of course it could be a left wing person, or a foreign actor, or someone with a mental condition, we just have no inkling at all yet. It’s just a possibility, and one that was represented in the two would-be Trump assassins.

I personally think it’s more likely to be someone who agrees with his rhetoric rather than is opposed. He was very odious, but not really wielding real power, so I think someone inclined to disagree with him is less likely to be moved that hard to action compared to someone that might feel somehow betrayed by him. But lots of room for mental health to really be the driver and then all bets are off on any ideology.
