In addition to being an insanely popular musician he’s also been in several WWE matches (and actually did great,) has been on SNL, and played the waiter-turned-caddy in Happy Gilmore 2 in a guest spot. So he’s pretty well known. Not to be aggro or suggest that’s the creme de la creme of celebrity, just to let you know the level he operates on. He’s pretty well recognized at a glance to a lot of people.
Bad Bunny is outside of my orbit, and I hadn’t heard of him until he was first on SNL, but you can tell that he did SNL once and decided this is what he was all about now. He is very cute that way.
My sister in law last year accused me of being a misogynist because I don’t like Taylor Swift’s music. She argued that since Swift is the most-downloaded artist ever on Spotify, that means she is objectively the greatest singer-songwriter in history and the only reason I could possibly dislike her music is that I don’t like women. I suggested that she must be racist because she doesn’t like Kanye West and Bad Bunny (who are the second- and third-most downloaded or thereabouts artists on Spotify) and she was like “who is Bad Bunny?”
I used to work in record stores back in the olden days, and didn’t notice that one of the regular customers only bought albums by female artists. So one day he was buying an album, and I suggested a new release by a male artist, and he INSTANTLY got really angry.
“Are you calling me a faggot? You think I’m gay?”
I was completely confused, not understanding what was happening, if this was joke, whatever. I just said, “No, I just thought you’d be interested. It’s a big album, it’s already our top seller…”
“Only a faggot would listen to a male singer, and I’m no faggot, understand?” And he stormed out.
He’d always been a nice guy, and I’d never heard his opinion on listening to singers of the same sex before, but they were VERY strong opinions. When he left, I was convinced that he was gay, and terrified someone would figure it out.
Every time I hear his name, I get mixed up with Bhad Bhabie and wonder WTF is wrong with people for still paying her any attention. Then realize, apparently it’s just me. I’m the problem.
I’ve never heard of him, but I don’t blame him. It makes sense

Don’t forget he was also in the movie Bullet Train with Brad Pitt!
I actually still haven’t watched it! I’ve been told it was fun enough, but I keep putting it off…
Fun movie!
Really cool action movie that just never stops. Highly recommended.

I don’t know either of these people.
He’s a Mexican club music musician, his stuff is actually pretty good but rather raunchy if you speak the language.
If you’re a honky like me you may take a liking to his recent work with the Gorillaz
Now I’m interested.
He’s Puerto Rican
Somebody should tell his president that his president is a piece of shit! Lol
