A multiethnic, multireligious, multiracial democracy would be a bloodbath. The Israelis simply will not allow it.

See the results of the various illegal settlements:

    https://theconversation.com/the-quiet-war-whats-fueling-israels-surge-of-settler-violence-and-the-lack-of-state-response-261990

“United Nations estimates indicate that Jewish settlers have carried out around 2,000 attacks against Palestinians since the war in Gaza began. That number represents a dramatic surge compared with any previous period during the nearly six decades Israel has controlled the West Bank.”

It would be great if everyone could live together in peace and harmony, we can’t. We are hard-wired to see things in “us” vs. “them”.

We are not hardwired to be racist colonizers, they were programmed to be this way by decades of racist and fascist propaganda.

The fact that Israelis are racist colonizers doesn’t give them the right to steal the land.

I’m not hearing a reason Israel should be allowed to exist.

Again, showing you’re totally OK with genocide so long as it’s a people you don’t personally like. Got it.

Israel was created as a Jewish homeland because the world decided they were owed it after an organized and dedicated extermination campaign.

Yes, it was wrong to just displace the Palestinians, but it was not wrong to give Jews a homeland after centuries of European discrimination and blood libel, culminating in the Holocaust.

p.s. We are absolutely programmed to be racist.

        https://www.dw.com/en/kids-arent-born-racist-but-they-do-perceive-race-early/a-68674280

"A landmark study in 2005, for instance, showed that babies perceived differences in race and exhibited preferences for their own race as early as at 3 months of age.

In a 2017 study, children associated adults of their own race with happy music, and adults of a different one with sad music — when the kids were aged just 6 to 9 months old.

While children showed a “weak racial bias” at 7 years old, by the age of 10, their bias had become “strong and reliable” in a 2014 study. White children in that study thought that Black children of the same age would feel less pain than them if they bumped their heads or bit their own tongues."
