Cuban reggaeton artist Leamsy La Figura, arrested last week in Miami-Dade, is now being held at the Alligator Alcatraz immigration detention facility in the Everglades.

He and other detainees claim they are enduring inhumane conditions, including lack of access to water, inadequate food and denial of religious rights.

La Figura, whose real name is Leamsy Isquierdo, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery. He was initially held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center (TGK) before being transferred to Alligator Alcatraz.

Any member of the media who complies and uses this cutesy name instead of calling it a concentration camp is complicit and the enemy.

So hey, remember all those Libertarian fringe types that were like “Rararar FEMA DEATH CAMPS!! THEY’RE A’BUILDIN ‘EM!! An’ they’re gon’ stick teh poor an’ disagreein’ U.S Citizens in there! Black bag kidnappings by the government!”

…So… interesting how they’re shutting down the actually-useful FEMA but…now that they’re building literal death camps…and kidnapping U.S citizens to drop in there for inexplicable reasons…where’s all that energy? That outrage?

    …Just asking…

“It’s impossible to sleep with this white light that’s on all day.”

    Literal torture.

“They’re not respecting our human rights,” one man said during the same call. “We’re human beings; we’re not dogs. We’re like rats in an experiment.”

“I don’t know their motive for doing this, if it’s a form of torture. A lot of us have our residency documents and we don’t understand why we’re here,” he added.

A third detainee, who said he is Colombian, described deteriorating mental health and lack of access to necessary medical care.

“I’m on the edge of losing my mind. I’ve gone three days without taking my medicine,” he said. “It’s impossible to sleep with this white light that’s on all day.”

He also claimed his Bible was confiscated.

“They took the Bible I had and they said here there is no right to religion. And my Bible is the one thing that keeps my faith, and now I’m losing my faith,” he said.

La Figura’s girlfriend said the couple shares a 4-year-old daughter.

Am I the only person that would be surprised if this place wasn’t inhumane at this point?

There will definitely be more, and they will make Alligator Auschwitz look like a small town police station lock-up. They have already awarded a $250 million contract to build a 30,000 bed facility in Guantanamo.

For context Guantanamo currently houses up to about 250 people. The average maximum security prison hold 800-1200. The largest prison, in Angola, LA, holds about 8300. So the new prison in Guantanamo will hold almost 4 times as many as the largest prison, which is already several times larger than average.

This facility will be on foreign soil (Cuba!), far away from the prying eyes of the media, the courts, lawyers, protesters, family, etc. If they were illegals, they’d be deporting them, so who are they planning on keeping here, and why?

Also, I’ve been tracking this development since he first signed the executive order for it several months ago, but I’ve never heard a single journalist in any media mention it, or ask any member of the administration about it. Most Americans aren’t aware of this in the slightest, and the media is helping keep it that way.

the MSMs are pratically the media arm of the admin at this part, aside from straight propaganda like fox. most of them are conservative owners.
