    Let me tell you about our Lord and Savior cast iron.

    I’ve picked up the hobby of sourcing and restoring vintage cast iron cookware. Etank lye bath making my own seasoning balms…

      Remember to test any 2nd hand cast iron for lead. Cast iron is commonly used for melting lead.

      I picked up a cast Iron and absolutely hate it, so much work with it and still stuff sticks, I also don’t think it’s good for induction stoves as the middle gets way hotter than the rest.

        Ah could be the induction thing. . I’m on a glass top. So I can’t speak to it.

        Tho the key with cast iron generally, is like 300°ish and food lube. Like bacon grease, butter or oil.

        Hate that you’ve not had a good time with it.
