I honestly know so little about the pay structure of NFL cheerleaders, that I’m unclear if they were massively underpaid, and this is good news OR if they were already getting good money, and this is just one more thing to make NFL tickets more expensive.

Fucking hell, no health insurance? When cheerleading is one of the most dangerous sports out there?

I mean…I make 12 an hour, no $500 bonus, and no health insurance.

And I feel like assisting disabled wheelchair passengers through an airport is more important than shaking my ass and waving some pompoms in a short skirt.

Of coarse I’m also a fat hairy guy. So my worth as a Dallas cheerleader may be diminished.

Do you do what you do because you enjoy it and/or find it rewarding or is it just a job to make money?

Either way you should be paid more but if it’s just a job, I have to believe you could make more elsewhere? Or is CoL just really low where you are?

These women were getting screwed just like you are. To live comfortably in Dallas, a single person may need to earn around $22.06 per hour, according to MIT’s Living Wage Calculator and these women were making significantly less than that.

I’m paid more than you to flip burgers. You deserve more but so do these girls. Almost everyone deserves more actually. We’re getting absolutely fucked in this class war

You’re job is more important, IMHO. However, we shouldn’t be putting down the victories of others. They work hard, and not that often. It’s a dangerous sport that only exists for men to drool over. They deserve the raise they got.

And you deserve a much needed pay increase as well. It may feel unfair that they got it before you, but they worked very hard towards getting that pay raise. If I had to wager a bet, I would make the assumption that you haven’t.

I push people in wheelchairs that are sometimes 600lbs each, two at time, for 16 hours a day, 6 days a week.

You couldn’t last an hour doing what I do before you tore muscles, or pulled your back. But you want to say I don’t work hard?

He was asking you if you worked toward obtaining a raise in your current job… Your answer is needlessly agressive, and irrelevent to what is actually written.

            Wait wait.

We tip those people and it’s not insulting? I feel like that’s like tipping a doctor or a fireman. No?

It’s a little different. They wheel you from the ticket counter, through expedited security, straight through to the gate.

Former Cowboys cheerleader Kat Puryear reveals her salary through 2022 was equivalent to that of “a substitute teacher” or a “Chick-fil-A worker that works full time.” Later on TikTok she added her job is a “full-time commitment, but part-time pay.”

      As per the article.
