Federal and local law enforcement authorities are investigating what caused the Sunday night fire, which came after a series of attacks against Tesla in rebuke of its chief executive, Elon Musk.

Just remember: Tesla vehicles are surveillance machines, and the cops have access to facial recognition software, so I will not be surprised if whoever did this is caught.

    In positive news… I think the iridescence caused by the flame really makes that back panel look pretty. Overall an improvement on looks.

        That’s also a really cool example of how much fluid flow is restricted by even small curves. The metal only got that hot on the curves, not where flow is not impeded.

          Pretty sure the discoloration here is from welding, not the exhaust gasses. If the discoloration stemmed from exhaust heat, the welds would have be discolored as well.
