I mean I was down on the floor, scrubbing the grout and wiping the wall behind the toilet. The stuff that normally gets missed.

    Awesome! Whenever I get stressed I like to clean. And I tend to get really detailed like you describe. But I think my housemates started intentionally stressing me out whenever they wanted something cleaned. So I no longer tell that to people IRL.

      Back in my younger days I knew a girl who liked to smoke weed and clean. I would invite her over, smoke s bowl, and then an hour or two later my room, car, kitchen whatever would be clean. It was awesome. Haven’t smoked or talked to her in years though…

    I did the same only due to a broken toilet.

    I typically start by deep cleaning each area when something breaks.

    It takes a bit longer, but it’s nicer to repair something in a really clean space.

    Edit: And for those familiar with toilet repairs - yes, I did spend substantially more time on the cleaning than the repair.

      I can repair a toilet in general but I draw the line at plumbing work. I can or can quickly learn to do anything myself but I just hate plumbing.
