The beer’s actually brewed in Toronto, but it’s the best I could do.
Mine from a week ago!

As a german, what is german pizza?

Schau bitte dieses schöne Exemplar an
Warum musstest du mich daran erinnern
In this case, it’s just a regular, mass-produced frozen pizza from a German factory. There’s nothing really culturally significant about it.
Sauerkraut pizza is a thing.
Solid plan, but I feel obliged to recommend Black Faxe to you, the 1L cans more specifically.

This isn’t even beer, it’s a canned headache.
As an American I envy Canadian’s choice of beers with higher alcohol content. Most breweries around here only offer IPAs if you want anything above 6%.
Show me you’re an alcoholic without showing me you’re an alcoholic 🤣🤣🤣
You had their 15%'er? Its brake cleaner for your brain.
This is the way
They dont have the 1l cans where I live, but it is an excellent beer.
Did the Danes ever intend their beer to become part of the language of love?
The only way to buy Faxe in Denmark is as imports. They are not sold in regular stores here anymore.
In high school we used to have a game called “Faxe hands”. You tape a large can of faxe to each hand and try to finish them both before you pee your pants, always a great time!
In college we had “Edward 40-hands”. Where you taped 2 40oz (1180mL) malt liquor bottles to your hands and couldn’t remove them before finishing. I pissed my coworker’s bed playing that.
As god intended
Huh. For us it is 40s.
Edward 40 hands
Hello, fellow USA dude?
Nope Canadian through and through.
One more thing we have in common with our northerly neighbors!
Measurements in Canada are weird. We have a blend of the imperial and metric system. I only know my weight in pounds and my height in feet. When cooking we use fahrenheit but my thermostat is set in Celsius
That is strange.
By German pizza you mean a Döner?
Btw over here Faxe sells 1l cans
Idk, flatbread pizza. Says “product of Germany”, which, by Canadian law, means it has to have at least 80% of it’s production done in that country. So, it’s made there. As for culinary style, I couldn’t say for sure.
I was joking, Döner Kebab in a pita sandwich is just like the most common fast food here
When I was a kid, we lived in Germany. The local pizza had canned tuna on it. Super strange. I’m United Statesian. I remember the rest of Germany and the German people very fondly. End of story.
Why was it strange? You don’t have tuna on a pizza?
No tuna on pizza here, nope. Some folks like anchovy, but it’s rare to encounter. In my 40+ years of life, i’ve only heard someone ask for anchovy once. I’m just talking normal takeout pizza, not fancy fine dining michelin star food.
Tuna pizza is fairly common in Finland. Frutti di mare and opera have tuna usually, opera being pretty popular pizza to buy
Thanks for the insight. Maybe it’s a European thing.
Flammkuchen
My father and I used to get the 1 Litre black cans, the strong version.
1 litre of 10% beer was quite a kick.
Skål!
This was my former alcoholic roommates go to beer! I would hear him crack one open before going to work!
Faxe beer is awesome. From the 5% to the 10% versions.
You must have not had a propper beer then :D
But you do you
Calm down pal, just because it’s not some 8.3% 25 dollar per 1/3rd pint honeycomb mallow root raspberry stout with hints of black tar heroin brewed exclusively by monks in the alps doesn’t make it any less a good beer.
Calm down pal
I am thinking of a good classic german Helles
It’s all good sorry for going off, I’m not good at doing the tone indicators for “I’m taking the piss and making it as obtuse as possible”
Hey there buddy, I’m gonna need to request a source for this 8.3% 25 dollar per 1/3 pint honeycomb mallow root raspberry stout with hints of black tar heroine brewed exclusively by alpine monks… for a friend.
The raspberry mallow may have been an exaggeration thanks to brewdog being champions, but Vault Brewery genuinely make an 8% honeycomb chocolate stout that’s glorious
I’m American and Faxe was my favorite beer when I lived in Denmark. Do they even sell this here? (you know, before the tariffs xD)
#straight #faxe
Is it a pizza tiramisu or ravioli?
