I work flextime (start between 8 to 10 am) full remote.
It really depends on how well I slept and how I feel.
Sometimes I even start before 8, so yes, I stand up earlier in this case.
As long as my work is done nobody cares.

I have similar Flex time but I generally try to start at 8 because I prefer to have the extra free time in the evenings.
My inner dialog often starts like this: “Imagine having free time at 4:30pm. Wouldn’t that be nic…”
While my inner demon often intervenes: “Shhhhhhhhhhhhh, roll over”
