I learned IRL a little while ago that saying doesn’t apparently hold the same meaning in Spanish (Tican? Argentinian?), but it still gets a laugh. The abuelas I said it around didn’t elaborate and just giggled at the silly American… but maybe someone here can shed some light? 😅🤷🏼‍♂️🤪
