Canadians hatred of Trump is burning hot right now. We vividly remember all of the threats Trump made of invading Canada.

and here PP is celebrating Trump invading another country. This man couldn’t be more tone-deaf if he tried.

The contrast of Trump saying he wants to annex us repeatedly, will get Greenland, and that America wants Venezuela’s oil, then fucking taking over their government “indefinitely” and stating the US will now own and sell their oil is fucking terrifying.

This needs to be the moment our government looks over and starts taking this seriously. And not “we’ll start building an in 10 years” kinda seriously, taking action today.

We need to remember the lessons we learned in WWII building the 4th largest air force, and 3rd largest navy in the world. 765 thousand troops for a nation of only 11.8 million.

We have 40 million ish people now, 12 old frigates, 3 dog eared subs, and 79 fighter jets half of which aren’t operational. We have so much work to do, we are kind of fucked if we don’t turn this shit around fast.

I don’t think we need to go for top quality right now either.

Just start fucking welding together ships and drones. We have machine jobs and an auto industry that’s doing. We don’t need fully tooled, we have machine solos who can start building small scale fast.

Everything Ukraine has done to become a leader in drone production we could do, and frankly I think drones and nukes would be our best quick investments.

Advanced radar woods be good too, like we’re buying from Australia.

Deleting windows from all government systems needs to be done, and removing azure from all workflows for as Canadian clouds like OVH (I know they’re French).

Cloud is basically fungible these days if you can stand up hardware, which I know exists in this country.

But really, you don’t build advanced if you can’t build simple, and that’s the muscle we need to flex.

The cons won’t allow that kind of expense though, as all funding needs to go to American oil barons so they can create and own corporations that get 98%+ of Alberta oil proceeds. That’s their play, and spending on Canadians isn’t really helping their goals.
