Selaco doesn’t.
Selaco doesn’t.
Absolute creep.
55% off coupons are being sent by emails to the GOG mailing list subscribers too.
Our org has 10k employees, around 3000 virtual servers of all kinds hosted internally and we’re migrating to Nutanix.
They’re moving to the Google TV streamer, which isn’t just a dongle behind the TV anymore.
It’s just that it’s hard to actually quantify, so the shareholders will prefer to go with enforcement that forces people to buy the games and console than taking a risk on hypotheticals.
Personally, I never bought a Wii U/Switch and played my fair share of games through emulation only.
I’d go with Bazzite, which is what SteamOS and Fedora Atomic Desktop would look like if they had a child.
I kinda get that they’ll do whatever than can to shut down an emulator for a console still selling and available on the shelves though. Not that there aren’t legitimate cases for it (homebrew software and games), but that’s not what Nintendo is concerned about.
But screw that for legacy consoles, game preservation is important too.
I really hope WPEngine flips the bird at them and forks the WP project.
For more diverse content I indeed wish, but you can’t build a healthy social network with an explosion of members without the moderation and toolings required to handle such a wave.
I’d rather be there while the Fediverse grows organically and gather my info from multiple sources the old fashioned way.
If I had a monitor to dedicate for each, sure, but I prefer using all my monitors for either systems I’m using, plus my work computer is on a dedicated network on a VPN tunnel so that wouldn’t work well for that anyway.
For the docking station I got a WD19TB from Dell provided by my employer, and for the KVM I managed to find this one that does 3xDP v1.4 to ensure it supports VRR (I’m only using two monitors, but it’s nice to have the extra capacity), has three USB ports (to plug the mouse, keyboard and webcam) and has an audio out + mic in so that my headset follows the computer I’m using.
I made sure to use good DP cables to make sure the capabilities of the KVM and my hardware are always met, and so far it’s been quite smooth.
Strange, my Yubikey allows me to authenticate using Passkeys just fine by entering the PIN that protects my stored credentials.
I guess you’re better off buying a physical security key, which offers some guarantee that the keys cannot be exflitrated from the device.
A good docking station plus KVM for a good work & home setup since the pandemic hit.
I can dock my work laptop when I work from home and have my two screens, ergonomic keyboard, mouse, webcam etc all attached in one go, then a single button on my desk to toggle to my gaming desktop and start playing without having to disconnect anything, reducing wear and tear on the connectors.
Separate your main goals into a list of more manageable tasks, arrange them by orders/priorities/delendencies and try to set a reasonable due date on the first tasks, but don’t push yourself too hard or you’ll get discouraged. It’s also okay to have some downtimes.
gog.com (acronym of Good Old Games), an alternative store where you can buy DRM-free games.
I even rebought some games I really care about on GOG.
The firmware is indeed closed-source, so it’s hard to audit. But they’re popular, and a security flaw wouldn’t go unnoticed for long.
There are other vendors such as NitroKey offers an alternative that offers both open source and audited hardware and software.
Already bought it with my own code, thanks for sharing :)
