I mean, the wealth of the 1% comes from more than the US. We would all like it back.

It’s a nice thought, but I don’t think the American people have it in them to punish Donald and his family appropriately.

We didn’t even punish the Confederacy appropriately, and those bastards killed hundreds of thousands of people.

We’ve learned from that mistake, and won’t make it again. And if our Democratic leaders won’t follow through - AGAIN! - then they can join MAGA when whatever happens happens when the people are forced to take action themselves.

Those who don’t make peaceful revolution possible, make violent revolution inevitable.

Get on board, or get run over.

Yep, I been saying that all along. He was deep in debt when he took office 2016, and became wildly wealthy through open corruption. So take away every fucking penny, and leave him and his demon spawn penniless.

It won’t matter anyway, they’ll all be in prison, except for the ones that dangle at the end of a rope.

Well cheetoh-brain is clearly too old for his position and in failing health. It’s only a matter of time, and not much of that. There’s every chance he won’t live out his term

It’s the family and hangers-on that are the problem. They’ve already looted billions from the country so are now part of the excessively wealthy. When they no longer have a presidential pardon to lean on, they are at risk of justice. It could happen

Right now my biggest fear is one of them turning that money into a political dynasty

And all of the justly tried and convicted traitors should receive capital punishment - no living out the rest of your life on the taxpayers dime.

I don’t know. Except for a few really exceptional assholes, I like the idea of them sitting in a bare, cold/hot cell in Gitmo, for the rest of their lives, in solitary, and with absolutely no TV or reading material or conversation allowed, and they get the exact same basic food, like a hot dog and stale chips, for EVERY meal. They get no information from the outside world, and the outside world will never hear from them again, until the announcement of their deaths.

And don’t bother with suicide watch. Nobody cares what happens to them. When they die, feed them to the sharks.

Over. When will it ever be over…When the fat paedo leaves office? Nope. He won’t leave office until he’s dead. If he’s not dead when his term finishes he’ll just stay in control by force.

So when he’s dead?..nope, the rest of his scummy vomited sperm with legs will use all the means at hand to bribe their way out of it. Then they’ll carry on being just as disgusting as they are now.

Just fucking do it today, by force. Then get his pieces of shit children next. Then investigate, then imprison. Don’t wait, FFS.

He was more of a sketch comedian turned Senator/podcaster than an actor, but they DID hold Al Franken accountable. Some would say excessively so.

Let’s see, Franken was a fierce advocate for clean energy, consumer protections and regulation on predatory corporations, and comprehensive immigration reform. He was well informed, well spoken, and starting to mount pressure which made the establishment politicians uncomfortable.

Gee, it’s possibly a bit excessive he was forced to resign over allegations of…checks notes…unwanted kisses for photo ops, and a staged photo lining his hands up over a woman’s breasts during a comedy tour.

He should have just grabbed them all by the pussy and told them to shut the hell up if you ask me.

It won’t happen if you elect a “heal the country” Democrat. Elect someone whose entire platform is justice.

The only way to “heal the country” is justice. To make it clear to the right that this is unacceptable. There needs to be arrests for all trumps political staff, friends in the media and any tech billionaires who broke the laws supporting him.

Clearly they’ve been holding themselves above the law while looting the country and abusing their authority. They deserve justice.

But somehow they’ve duped half the voters. The brain-washing finally seems to be developing cracks. But the reality is half the voters will believe anything people in the correct party shovel their way.

Joke all you want about “healing” by giving, but any coming together has to somehow bring a lot of these people back to conscienceness. I have no idea how - is there a bar can equivalent to help people recover? Maybe we can modify airliners to spread it over flyover country

We’re gonna need A LOT more than just arrests. We’re gonna need to strike the fear of death into anyone that might even so much as think of doing this shit again.

The key is all the minions that jumped on the bandwagon, to carry out their fantasies of power and control over people, to loot the system, to exercise their racism, to vent their spite and hatred.

Right now it seems like the people in charge may escape justice but the thousands of minions aren’t. The key is for them to face justice, to become a deterrent to the next time.

That being said, I thought we had that with the Capital rioters, but they all seemed to get pardoned a few years into their sentences too maybe a return to law and justice is too much to hope for

Are you going to give the land back to the tribes over all those broken treaties and give reparations to not only the descendants of slaves, but also the entire global south from which we stole their working age population and resources for hundreds of years?

Because I agree the only way to heal the country is justice I just think you’ve diagnosed a pimple on a tumor.

Not going to happen until all of the “centrist” (actually right wing corporatist) Democrats in charge of the party get out of the way.

They’ll never not prioritize the comfort of their owner donors MUCH higher than the needs and wants of the general populace they’re supposed/pretending to serve.
