The government of Canada is adamant — with certain, shifting caveats — that it has not allowed arms shipments to Israel since January 2024, and yet Israeli import data and publicly available shipping records appear to contradict that claim.
The data was uncovered by a group of researchers from four NGOs: World Beyond War, the Palestinian Youth Movement, Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East and Independent Jewish Voices.
They found entries in the database of the Israel Tax Authority that show Canadian goods continuing to enter Israel, described by the Israeli government as military weapon parts and ammunition.
“This report lays bare, without a doubt, the true extent of Canada’s ongoing material support for Israel amidst this genocide,” said Yara Shoufani of the Palestinian Youth Movement at a news conference in Ottawa on Tuesday morning.

The latest report names these companies for using the loophole to route parts through the US.

The previous report (July 2025) had a longer list. They shipped parts to Israel, often via European countries and as cargo on passenger flights.

Plus 19 other companies not explicitly researched in that report, but known to ship military parts to Israel: Apex Industries, Arconic / Howmet Aerospace / Kawneer Company Canada, ASCO Aerospace Canada Ltd., ATP / Veryon / Casebank, BAE Systems, Ben Machine Products, Collins Aerospace, Curtiss-Wright, Cyclone Manufacturing, Excelitas, Gastops, GeoSpectrum Technologies, Héroux-Devtek, Honeywell Aerospace, Inkas, Kraken Robotics, Magellan Aerospace, PCC Aerostructures Centra, TTM Technologies Inc. (formerly Viasystems Toronto Inc.),
Holy shit that’s a lot!
Do you think it would be possible to plan a massive protest in front of all these companies? It would need one hell of a coordinated effort.
I’m not sure if there are protests specific to each of these companies, but if you’re near one of them, it may be worth trying to start something local.
I’ve mostly been attending the protests run by Palestinian Youth Movement Toronto who had a hand in writing these reports. https://linktr.ee/pymtoronto also check out https://www.findaprotest.info/
Even trying to reach out to the company could help, although a nationwide steadfast approach is more effective. The reason I say that is; I know companies that indirectly supply supply chains. They are subcontractors for parts of some components. And internally it causes them turmoil, but with the trump economy its the only work they have. It becomes the go broke or stay afloat problem, which is probably why looking at this long list, is why Carney condemns israel while allowing manufacturers to still produce and sell, to keep our economy going.
