Ok this is actually IS just straight-up antisemitism. They include major corporations, fair enough. They mention AIPAC, sure. That’s a shadowy organization that has a lot of undue influence. But why the Hell are the Rothschilds there? They were a wealthy Jewish family from the 1800s that antisemites have never shut up about. And it’s telling that the Rothschild name is at the very front and center. You can be anti-Zionist without being antisemitic. But this is well into full-on “Jews control the world” thinking.

Rothschild Bank is a large corporation with a history of getting caught helping the wealthy elite evade taxes and transparency laws. They aren’t the only family name listed here: Koch, Goldman, and Sachs were all last names. I don’t see anyone claiming that Koch’s inclusion reflects anti-Dutch sentiment. Heck, Goldman and Sachs are both Jewish names from their Jewish founders but I don’t see anyone defending that ghoulish corporation from alleged “anti-Semitism”.

I agree that it’s a fine line to be aware of. But I don’t see this meme calling out anyone’s religion or ethnicity. It’s not generalizing or characterizing all Jewish people. It’s just pointing out a handful of evil corporations, and one of them happens to be famously Jewish and associated with anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. Just because the Rothschild family have been victims of antisemitic conspiracy theories doesn’t mean that Rothschild Bank gets a free pass from public ire.

Another take on this; keep them and add the other political influencers à la Musk & co. Their ancestry is of no relevance when looking at their disproportionate influence. Their insane wealth alone is enough of a problem. Though when looking at influences there’s a point on current trends that are coming from evangelicals; so maybe we can add large religious institutions as well. Which will likely overlap wealthy persons…

I’m gonna go out on limb here and say nuh uh, this is a wealthy/powerful vs not wealthy/powerful meme.

It is odd and maybe you are right that they are the only generalized family here.

If you are right, this is an opportunity to educate people that are attracted to this through hate and get them thinking ultra wealthy vs the people. At the same time, that family is not on our team, at all. They’ve oppressed people for hundreds of years through predatory banking the same way the rest of these mega corps have.

Fuck everyone in this picture, they can all get the daddy g guillotine.

Yeah the whole Rothschilds/Illuminati/New World Order/Jewish bankers thing is pure Nazi shit. It’s important we show solidarity with our Jewish allies.

Needs more Brawndo cuz it’s what the plants crave!

I think it was Robin Williams that said something like that politicians should wear Nascar like suits so we can see who owns them. But ya, screw the corporate interests

What’s with the random dig at the NEA, a labor union? Like I get it, they’re a hardcore business union that unionbusts it’s own workers, but they aren’t like the corporations lobbying to destroy everything good

Based on your own words, a union that union busts is the same thing as a normal guy that frequents a Nazi bar. It’s a fuckin Nazi dude

Believe it or not, it’s more common than the labor movement is willing to admit. The problem is how the union does it’s organizing. It’s called “business unionism”, a liberal version of what unions should be doing. The best unions use class struggle unionism, which is anticapitalist.
