It happens sometimes. When’s it happened to you?
My ex-husband cheated on me for about 3 years. I noticed I was starting to get a lot of ads for dating sites at home, which was my first flag.
We went rock climbing at his workplace and his female coworker didn’t recognize me/know of me and was all over him.
Was in bed and saw bumble on his phone reflected off his glasses onto my phone screen when I stopped playing a game.
He was, in general, an atrocious person. But being alone was a terrifying prospect at the time so I let it go on for longer than I should have. In the end it wasn’t the even cheating that caused me to leave.
Jeez that really is terrible. What a horrible mindset to have I actually feel sorry for him that he’s that lacking in contentment and peace deep down that he’d be doing things like that. And of course, double that sympathy for you for having to live through that. Hope freedom feels incredible for you now ✨

I’ve had two long-term partners accuse me of cheating.
In both cases we’d had times of it being an open / poly relationship, some threesomes, etc, and it had never occurred to me to cheat. They specifically wanted to hurt my feelings.
In both cases, after breaking up it turned out they’d been cheating on me.

Sorry to hear that. I don’t understand how some people’s brains work, in order for them to behave like that.
“Best friend” in high school was teasing me about my (very serious) boyfriend.
Was sleeping with said boyfriend behind my back.
Professed not to know that I had a thing for him, despite, you know, specifically teasing me about having a thing for him.

I used to have a boyfiend of like 4 or 5 years that didn’t tell his family about me. So i never met them oder visited his home place. For me that was kind of a big deal back then.
