Probably only thing keeping her alive. If she retired she die within the year. Sad if you ask me, but the older generations only know work.
It just seems to be a thing in general, that if you stop, you just… never start again. My grandpa always credited his farm with keeping him going strong. Well, that and grandma’s cooking lol
