Yeah, and more than that, I think that people just don’t bring it up much because they all feel there has to be such a low chance that their little angel and bundle of joy could possibly turn out so poorly
Sure it is. Its obvious what its implying even if its left with some plausible deniability.
I hate this weak minded shit where people don’t just say what they mean for fear of criticism, and so they just leave a convenient motte to retreat behind.
Do you expect every meme to be backed up with demographic data? Or are you just prickly that someone suggested that homophobia exists and you need to argue about something?

If we just go hog wild with “its just a meme” we end up with the far right. Thats a huge part of how they latched onto the social common ground for white men online.
“It’s just a meme!” for generalizing large groups of people is shitty, particularly when it seems many believe the implied demographic level of popularity of said meme.
Your “Lol. Get a grip.” in response to this is anti thought.
I think they may be more horrified finding out their children become those things, but I don’t think they actively fear that possibility in advance. Contrast with the gay scenario where a fair number of parents actively fear that possibility well in advance of any signs that might even be a thing.
Even if it were backwards the post would be asking for people to care less about the first stuff, since you’re saying they don’t care that much about having gay sons. The level of homophobia does not change and the post is wouldn’t be asking for that in any valid interpretation.

Yeah, this meme is completely idiotic, lol.
All I know is that a lot of families will protect their rapist son and kick their gay kid out of the house.
A lot yes. Most? I find hard to believe.
The meme is not really a falsifiable statement and it doesn’t need to be.

I’m absolutely certain more people fear their kids being those things over homosexual.
so this meme is literally asking for more people to be homophobic
garbage meme

Reading comprehension isn’t that hard, dude.
This post is turning into an impromptu reading comprehension test for a lot of people it seems
