The current climate of the world is in people realizing that superheros and hope doesn’t exist and good guys don’t win. So when you see another superhero movie where the good guys win … it rubs you the wrong way when you know that this isn’t the reality in the real world.

Superhero movies do well because real life is so shit. We need that escape.
