Unmarked vehicle. Masked. Only 2 of them, one not in uniform. Yeah, this isn’t a lawful arrest. This is a kidnapping.

Yeah, I don’t even think that was the real ICE. ICE carries M16s or M4s, not sure, but between the two of them you don’t see a single weapon? This is absolutely an unlawful kidnapping. And we’re they driving a Nissan? No fucking way ice rolls out with only two guys in a Nissan.

They had a black Subaru Crosstrek in the video of when the crashed into 2 brothers in a truck, then arrested them.

They’re using rental cars not to try and blend in. Be aware of this, but still do what you can to stop kidnappings.

The guy the arrested was fat too, but clearly he actually fucking worked in his life.

He was able to resist those pieces of shit until they gave up.

No one attacked them and just heckled the shit out of them. Couldn’t subdue one man between the two of them, then ran away when the realized the world still thinks they are pieces of shit.

They looked like some sort of local chapter militiamen dipshits. Fucking meal team 6, wannabe warriors that probably even get turned down by their own hands.

Why did no one take any of the infinite opportunities to take the green dude’s mask off from behind? He’s definitely bolting if that happens, real ICE or not. And with rulings from judges against wearing them, I’d think you have decent legal standing even in the slim chance something comes of it.

Exactly. Lots of people think this probably wasn’t legit ICE anyway, not that any is legit.

As much as I may want to assault them, I’m not going to pretend I’m actually brave enough. But I would 100% risk pulling that mask off while he’s riding the victim like a horse.

The chances one would have to do that would likely be while they’re attempting to ride an innocent like a horsey. Best to avoid dousing unintended recipients with anything gross in that case, although I’m sure they’d be somewhat relieved to be free, albeit covered in piss.

Suggestion. If you see something like this happening, there’s enough people in ICE’s face and no one’s in the car, cut the valve stems. They’re made of fairly soft rubber. If they do drag their victim in, they won’t get far. Hell, if you see an ICE car parked somewhere, prop a nail under the tire so it punches as they leave.

Its just the least effective thing you could do. You would be better off unmasking or slashing their tires. Both will impact them significantly more and come with way smaller charges if you end up in front of a judge.

that’s nice. I’m so happy that Canadians feel free enough to follow US politics.

can’t say the same though. I really can’t focus on more than one shithole country.

all I know about Canada is

            1. hockey

            3. lebatt
            4. moose
            5. sorry

well, that and the fact that Canada is in the same place the US was in 2016. maybe you should pay closer attention to your own shithole country before you start telling my shithole country how to act eh?

The problem is the people standing around don’t want to become victims themselves. I was wishing they’d do more through the whole video but, if they did, they’re running the risk of a 20+ year prison sentence.

That said, I think there is plenty of plausible deniability here. There is nothing to say these two are actually officers. Only one of them is in “uniform” and that uniform is something anyone could buy.

That’s what I was thinking - much as I wanted them to do more, it looked like the bystanders were being careful to do everything they could that wouldn’t invite immediate escalation - making clear they were filming, moving dropped material away when they got a chance, and generally slowing down the whole process considerably.

You do not understand that this is not your country, clearly.

There are cameras everywhere. Anyone not prepared to mask themselves could easily be arrested later by police.

In top of this, Trump wants violence. When things are solved like this, without violence, Trump gets more frustrated and angry… And he resorts to using footage from years ago to try to anger his base, which is already very disillusioned with him over a number of things (Epstein files, Tarrifs, Qatar military base.)

What happened here was smart. What you are suggesting is destructive to our country.

If it’s any consolation, as a US-ian watching this, my mind was racing through all the things I wanted to do. The kidnappers are all-in focusing on the victim, with stress probably fogging up their brains. Anyone with an iota of mental discipline and a moment to strategize would have an advantage over them.

I kept thinking how easy it would probably be to remove their masks and sunglasses. Their hands are full, what are they gonna do? They could let go of the victim (win!) to re-cover their faces, or they could let their faces be visible (smaller win) and whatever comes of that, comes of that.

Then I remembered that I’ve got pepper spray, and this video may be the kick I need to actually start carrying it full-time.
