Every fascist movement needs a Führer and they usually fall apart when the Führer is gone. I’m not saying everything will be fine once he dies but it’ll be a lot harder for the Nazis to galvanize their base the way Trump does.
They don’t need to anymore though. The tools of repression are in place and whoever would succeed Trump, Vance I suppose, would wield those tools much harder to cement his place.
