Met a guy who owned a building I worked at. Says no one in the village knew they had been eating human sausages until the ss removed the butcher and his wife.
I’ve heard the opposite. It has the same meat density as pork (even forms rinds when burned in a fire) and apparently tastes like slightly sweeter pork, hence the name.
Not that I’m advocating cannibalism, mind you, just setting the record straight 😁
Unfortunately long-pig isn’t particularly tasty or filling, from what I understand.
Maybe make jerky…
