I think too many people are unfamiliar with the plight of trans folks to be able to understand and actively defend them against targeted attacks from the right, but they would passively support them just like any other human being. Also I very much sympathize with OP’s trauma from receiving a handful of hateful comments, it can make one defensive against even supportive and well-meaning comments.
The right wing loves to amplify culture wars and use gender identity as a boogeyman to distract them from all the ways the US government is screwing its residents over at the moment.
People at large have a locus of control. Immigrants, trans folks, minorities, poor people, Palestinians, and now anyone that doesn’t feel sympathy Charlie Kirk are being targeted, along with trans and nonbinary people. Trying to measure out who deserves how much attention and determine if they are getting it, doesn’t serve any purpose but to divide. We can acknowledge trans people’s right to exist while also fighting a class war.
I’d even go as far as this: Wanting your group prioritized while complaining about “deafening silence” when talking about any other group seeking equity, is the kind of things TERFs and Log Cabin Republicans do.
Trans Rights are Human Rights, standing up against Trump is about standing up for Trans Rights and the rights of every person living in the US.
I dunno, can’t I just as easily ask why are trans people so quiet about non trans issues? Cutting hundreds of billions from Medicaid affects everyone, including trans people, but for some reason I hear about trans athletes more than Medicaid. I don’t even care about sports in general, but I’m supposed to call Newsom a Nazi because what, he didn’t support trans sports well enough? It’s that hyperbolic nonsense that makes people not take trans rights seriously because there’s no making anyone happy.

You are missing that “transitioning” is the only known healthcare treatment option for trans people. By saying that they shouldn’t transition but “cure their gender dismorphia” you’re not actually giving them an alternative, since there is no known method to cure gender dismorphia without transitioning.
So what you are doing is saying trans people should not get healthcare, so you are saying that getting healthcare is not a human right (or you’re saying that trans people aren’t human).
I am not saying they shouldn’t transition I said I don’t consider it heathcare. You should be born the gender you should be that is healthy. I am not doing anything just because I consider other things more important right now the question was answered. So do I have to vote for trump in his forth election?
How did it happen that you are an authority on which treatment option is or is not healthcare? Are you part of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health and helped decide their Standards of Care document, which doctors around the world use to decide which healthcare treatment to give to transgender people? As far as I know, that association and document currently defines what healthcare for trans people actually is, and it says transitioning (gender-affirming care) is healthcare and is the treatment.

Your opinion does affect others though. It is possible that you will vote for parties that do not want to give trans people healthcare, because you don’t believe that it’s actually healthcare. It is possible that you try to convince others of your opinion, of which there is direct evidence here (otherwise why would you post it publicly?), making the resistance for trans people to receive healthcare larger.
You really don’t see a problem with your opinion being “trans people should not receive the healthcare the need”? Sure, your individual opinion is not terribly important in the grand scheme of things, but the more people that have your opinion the more likely it becomes that trans people do not get their healthcare.
