Your opinion does affect others though. It is possible that you will vote for parties that do not want to give trans people healthcare, because you don’t believe that it’s actually healthcare. It is possible that you try to convince others of your opinion, of which there is direct evidence here (otherwise why would you post it publicly?), making the resistance for trans people to receive healthcare larger.
You really don’t see a problem with your opinion being “trans people should not receive the healthcare the need”? Sure, your individual opinion is not terribly important in the grand scheme of things, but the more people that have your opinion the more likely it becomes that trans people do not get their healthcare.

If I were to use your tactics of pulling shit out of my ass to argue against I would say you want people to be born the wrong gender such that they feel so fucking horrible that they need to go through dramatic body transformations to feel healthy, you want that suffering and expense, rather than just being happy in the first place so that you can profit from it? You keep talking about other options for trans people. With all of our current knowledge, there is no other option than transitioning. Where do you get the idea that there is any other option for them?
I don’t even think healthcare in general is a guaranteeable right it emerges from high functioning society. Same with gender affirming care, it’s a function of medical advances you have no promise to it.

You changed my view on transitioning being the best medical care. I did think removing the gender dismorphia was a viable option but I did look at some info to see if you were right and you are I was wrong there. I definitely have some transphobia I could transform into support for the trans community and still retain my anti-individual views. I mean it’s not like I want to live in a society that isn’t capable of such biological transformations it’s a pretty cool capability.

I also completely agree that the other person attacking you was way out of line. I don’t want to excuse their behavior, but maybe now you can understand where they’re coming from: people like you are incredibly rare, for 95% of people, they’d never have considered that transitioning is the “correct” healthcare solution. I could have talked and talked and mentioned or shown evidence and they’d just have dismissed me. Your change and you admitting it just doesn’t usually happen.
Now imagine doing what I did (talking about transitioning being the right healthcare option) again and again and it failing again and again. It gets infuriating. They’re seeing the “right answer” but people just keep dismissing them. And for them, this is essentially a topic of survival, for many, if the gender dismorphia is not solved, they might kill themselves because of the mental pain. So in the end, when someone says they shouldn’t transition, it’s like telling them to kill themselves. Unfortunately, hate gets built very quickly if you are in this situation.
Anyway, I’m super super thankful for you.
I think I got my thing down better… Primitive rights like the right to not experience violence, fair trial by peers, ownership of property etc village stuff and institutional rights like healthcare education privacy etc which emerge later in societies. So I guess I was fully wrong cus I do want education and privacy and other institutional rights and we should absolutely all be fighting for those. Yea yea trans rights is human rights
