  • That’s basically why the Supreme Court ruled that Presidents have some degree of immunity from prosecution. It wasn’t just about shielding Trump from prosecution…it was also about retroactively pardoning all the previous presidents for their own individual “crimes”, while in office.

The precedent was set after Nixon. Their ruling just legitimized all that previous lack of accountability.

But, in Trump’s case…not a lot that he does is in the service of the country. Most of it, is entirely self-serving…and that can be prosecuted.

  • Then you haven’t been paying attention. Almost everything he’s been trying to do that is actually against the law, has been blocked in court.

And if you’re one of those folks thinking that he could at some point just invoke the Insurrection Act and use the military to take over…then you should know that the majority of the generals in the military would not follow those orders, unless there was a clear and obvious threat to the nation.

There would be no “Order 66” moment…only the beginning of a “civil war” within the military, that would most likely result in a stalemate due to officers simply refusing to order their troops to fire on their own people.

  • The inscription read: “To President Donald J. Trump. In gratitude for your extraordinary leadership in promoting peace through strength, advancing diplomacy, and defending liberty and prosperity.”

It continued, “Presented as a personal symbol of gratitude on behalf of the Venezuelan people in recognition of President Trump’s principled and decisive action to secure a free Venezuela.”

“The courage of America, and its President Donald J. Trump, will never be forgotten by the Venezuelan people. “

…and then he went on to say “Thank you, but we’re still backing the current regime.”

This shit is just getting embarrassing now. She keeps vomiting praise on him, even while he’s stabbing her and the Venezuelan people, in the back.
