Mamdani won the House minority leader's district by double digits in New York City's Democratic mayoral primary, prompting one critic to ask, "Do those voters not matter?"
Then explain to me why the 2 other “liberal” candidates in NYC have refused to drop out and are threatening to split the democratic vote and allow a Republican to win the mayor’s office.
The two liberal candidates I am referring to are Mario Cuomo who lost the Democratic primary to Mamdani and Eric Adams the current mayor who is a registered Democrat.
Vote blue no matter who went out the window real quick.
Jeffries needs to be made an electoral example of for being so out of touch with voters.
Oh no, it’s still there. It will be trotted out the next time progressives get angry at another corporate candidate.
I hope so because we absolutely cannot afford to lose any more ground to the christofascist dictatorship.

Idgaf what the third party candidates are doing, tbh. Same shit with the greens every election.

Oh I understand your confusion. You see, Mamdani won the DNC primary election earning the party’s spot on the ballot.
Cuomo is third party. If Adams is running he is also third party.
The ONLY democrat mayoral candidate is Mamdani.
There’s no question that we should always vote against the most right wing candidate. No reasonable person disagrees with this.
The exceptions make the rule, always have.
