      6 years for 36 episodes, is an extremely long time. as said by pallacki(the co-lead) in a podcast, she said her and others working on the shows couldnt afford living off in between scant seasons in hollywood. its also a problem with other shows who do 1-2 years between season, and only 6-8 episodes per seasons, its networks not wanting to spend too much money for a well written show.
