OK WE’RE ACTUALLY LIVE NOW
a little hiccup at the start but we’re here
The Enterprise-D is all set up in the top right corner of the canvas.
Obviously, the ship is the highlight, here - I’m thinking we should probably outline it in black, and then fill it in (ideally with better colours than the ones in the template - I just used those for shading).
The starfield is less important, and should provide a nice space for people to blend our template with the others.
Have fun!
People are already drawing “over” our template - this is absolutely fine, since they almost certainly can’t see it, or what we’re doing.
I think it will be cool if we can just go “around” their stuff, so it appears that the Enterprise is in the background of whatever they’re doing.
Think of them as decals!
In the end, it looks like the Big D is just blowing through some holograms or perhaps an asteroid belt.
Engage the main deflector array!
It’s fine for the Enterprise to have corporate sponsors…right?
Ok
I clearly have forgotten how to be able to see our template.
I am logged in as a StarTrek.website user but not seeing it.
I ran into an issue where once I was logged in, I had to close the tab and re-launch the template from the link in the post. Annoying, but it worked.
Thanks - I tried closing my browser view but when I relaunched from the link here, I just see the outline rather than the template.
Third try from the embedded link for the template and I am there.
