The federal government is putting up a cool $105 million toward expanding high-speed Internet in rural and northern Saskatchewan, according to Innovation, Science and Economic Development today. Absolutely but the Saskatchewan party is doing everything they can to slowly sabotage the telecom by using shoddy contractors as much possible to privatize the crown corporation even though Sasktel gave them a budget surplus.
I have a lot more faith in SaskTel succeeding here than if its been given to Rogers or Bell.
