Millions of Americans took to the streets around the country. Unarmed. Peaceful. A big tent that mobilized lots of different people.
Meanwhile the army looked pathetic surrounded by tanks and robot dogs. They had to march for an old man’s birthday who felt the need to lie about what the march was for. He tried to goad protesters to come because he couldn’t get any crowds.
Shout out to the organizers yesterday who had some really smart ideas like not protesting the parade and switching to the “no kings” slogan from being against “oligarchy”.
Keep organizing and keep at it.

The military has some great marching bands, crack troops that can do incredible displays, and all kinds of fantastic aircraft. They were ordered to do a parade, and they did a parade. I don’t think these guys are champing at the bit to go to war for Donnie.
They did it for the Army’s anniversary. But the chicken TACO had to make it about himself. He stole their birthday.
We dont want a military coup. People really need to understand this.
I personally would like a new constitution drawn up after this and ratified. I want a legal and longlasting change built on the correct foundation. Trump has 100% shown, we cannot continue under the current consitiution.
I want a democratically elected government to take charge and hold everyone aiding this wannabe dictator accountable.

I think I can speak for the majority of Canadians when I say we will never, ever become the 51st state. Wanna keep Canada frothing at the mouth about the US then keep on with that annexing tripe. Elbows up! never 51st.

The moment any sort of new union was on the table. California, Oregon and Washington would split from the US and form their own independent one. Loooong before they’d want to team up again with several of the deep red states.

Split America into 10 equal chunks and form a new union between them first. Let’s see what happens when people are free to vote with their feet and their tax money follows.

Hey, buddy, stay in your fucking lane. We in Canada should have, based on historic trends, swung our stupid asses Conservative last election but instead we stood up for ourselves and avoided that. Barely, but we did. The USA is a shithole of epic proportions and most of the conservative garbage we have to wade through is massively inspired by the stench coming off that rotten place to the south.

The problem is, the fascists also want a new constitution as well. One of the heritage foundation efforts is to gain control of legislature in enough states to force a constitutional convention. If that happens, expect things to get much worse.
If it is legally done, then we failed. You can’t force the majority into a minority solution. Will never work. You need a common goal.
People need to get off their my side is the best side bc it is failing. If as a species we are going to reverse climate change, then we need to work together.
