Yes. I work at Panera, and we’ve always made it obvious about the caffeine, even in advertising… I’m still not defending random corporate crap like this, but there’s nothing malicious, we have signs everywhere. Although realistically the only people who should be drinking that much caffeine are the grunt workers making $1 above minimum wage to close the restaurant every night.
What happened is a tragedy, but it’s in no way Panera’s fault - we plaster the caffeine content everywhere. And I have no reason to defend corporate with the crap they pull on us store workers. But yeah all this suing accomplishes is lowering our wages even further…
Why isn’t it a good idea to sell something with typical iced coffee caffeine content to people who want that much caffeine?
