@[email protected] It’s stopped in the photo. If it’s moved since I took the photo a decade ago, I couldn’t say for certain, but that seems likely.

@[email protected] They don’t know for sure that it’s ice, it may just be wind and water. The rocks can be very heavy, so they squash the playa beneath them. Their shapes are irregular so that Ince can form in the gaps underneath them.

@[email protected] Haha, although I sympathize! We used our sleeping pads in the lake, but they weren’t enough to let anyone sleep on them - thankfully!.. On my first trip to Hawaii I fell asleep on a Maui beach and got fried on three sides. For the rest of that week at night I had to sleep only on the unburned (right) side because the others hurt too much! Another dumb lesson learned…

@RacerX Good luck and enjoy!.. I imagine it will be like my X1C, in that firmware updates are strictly a manual thing that the user has to trigger, so if they do have to cripple something in the future, hopefully you can just keep your printer working as it had before.

@RacerX For $339 for an A1, I wouldn’t consider it a major risk at all. I have an X1C and I love it. If they lose a lawsuit and have to remove features, I figure I just won’t update the firmware and hope that does the trick. And if so, that potentially another reason to pull the trigger now.
