Music. You can hear my eyes rolling when there’s pop music being played anywhere near me or when the children / teenagers in my class ask me for the x-th time to teach them fucking Taylor Swith. 🙄
I just nuked my account and fecked off to Lemmy after the API kill.
I don’t think so since they are divorced and retired.
I’m the person responsible for my surname becoming extinct worldwide. It was a very rare one and I was the only one left being able to pass it on. Too bad I changed my surname when I got married, plus I’m queer. Double kill for that legacy. The last few people on this planet with my previous surname will be the last ones.
Go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over.
Needless to say I’m not too fond of my family…
I just started watching Dexter again. Hmmm…
I rarely speak well of English people or English food, but damn, thanks to them I found the holy grail of Mac n Cheese recipes.:D
So wie eben alle Nazi-Grifters weltweit. Gilt ebenso für unsere AfD-Faschisten.
Nazibraut tut Nazidinge. Überraschte Donnerratte.
Don’t worry,I learnt from my past mistakes. I’ve got solid ear protection now and also wear earplugs for all concerts I’m attending.
I used to program electronic music and play live keyboard until I wrecked my hearing on stage.
I picked up playing drums 1.5 years ago and love it. I’ve been teaching drums for almost 2 months now at a music school.
Drumming relaxes me a lot, it’s a good workout and even with my impaired hearing I can still play them.
Bingo, that’s the one. I was lucky enough to see the band live twice in their home town Paris. Each time I left the venue speechless. :)
This meme is solid gold. Thank you. :D
Ah, fair, my bad - did not read that bit properly. I need more coffee this morning.
As far as I know, Eoin Colfer was always very fond of the work of Douglas Adams. Jane Belson, the widow of Adams, supported the last novel being written by Colfer. The book does not have the same drive at all times, but it is a fairly alright last chapter to an epic and bonkers saga. Colfer had some very big shoes to fill here and I think he did a solid job.
Personally, I liked the first 4 books best. Starship Titanic is quite funny, too. My all time favourite book of Douglas Adams is Last chance to see, though. :)
My favourite co-op games are:
I’m queer and once had a date with a black woman from the States while living in Dublin, Ireland. She asked me if I could be her local tourist guide. Sure thing!
Walked her all across the shitty overpriced city centre. At some point she asked me:
“Am I the only black person around here?”
Eventually decided to ditch the CC and take a taxi to my local area.
Waltzed into my regular pub holding hands, cuddeling.
The entire place filled with white cis locals went dead silent like in a bad cliche movie.
“Harry, two pints of the black stuff, will ye?”
Peeps realised that at least I was a local and continued minding their own business.
Jeez…
