Der Gedanke das Krieg als ultima ratio der Diplomatie und der Wirtschaft greift ist doch uralt. Aber genau um dies zu unterbinden hat sich Europa doch nach WK2 entschieden nie wieder Krieg zu erlauben, der Grenzen verschiebt.
Im Übrigen heißt das Vorhandensein eines Rationals beim Vorgehen noch lange nicht, dass dies zu rechtfertigen ist oder dass es dadurch nicht babarisch ist.

Wie sieht es denn “unromantisiert” aus? Das Russland kämpft weil Putin ein historisches Vermächtnis vor seinem Tod hinterlassen will? Das Russland kämpft wegen des Zugangs zu weiteren Warmwasserhäfen? Wegen der seltenen Erden und anderer Ressourcen? Wegen Einflusssphären?
All das legitimiert rein gar nichts. Da ist das Völkerrecht und die internationale Nachkriegsordnung eindeutig, Krieg zur Grenzverschiebung ist ein Verbrechen.
Und selbst dann ist immer noch die Art und Weise woe Russland den Krieg führt absolut babarisch, ggü. Ukrainischen Soldaten, sowie ggü. Russischen, Nord-Koreaniaschen und vorallem ggü. der ukrainischen Zivilbevölkerung

Just because every fascist country was a capitalistic country doesn’t mean that it needs to be that way or that that evolution is inevitable. By the same line of logic you could argue that communism leads to autharianism, which happened at least most of the time, but I’d argue it’s not inevitable.
It’s the worst in mankind that leads to fascism but inherently it’s in and outgroup behaviour routed in insecurity and alienation that is the cause of that thinking.
