Charlie Brown stands in a chair in the bathroom, looking into the mirror above the sink. He puts his hand to his chin and exclaims,“Say! I think I do!”
He continues,“No, I guess I don’t”
He walks to Violet, who is sitting on the floor. He says,“It turned out to be only dirt…”
He sits across from her and crosses his legs. He concludes,“But for one brief, exciting, moment I thought I needed a shave!”
This strip would be remade on July 15, 1959 with Linus and Lucy replacing Charlie Brown and Violet:

My teen started shaving at 11 and he still hates it!
